Join FIPA staff, board, members, and others in the information and privacy community at FIPA’s 2018 Annual General Meeting.
This year’s AGM will take place at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, June 19, at the YWCA Hotel (details below), and will feature a talk by Vincent Gogolek who will be reflecting on his time with BC FIPA.
Vincent Gogolek is a long-time advocate for FOI and privacy laws, and has been FIPA’s executive director for the past 8 years. During his time with FIPA, Vince played a key role in both the everyday work of the association and in FIPA’s numerous public engagements. He has appeared on local, regional, and national media programs to discuss issues related to government transparency and privacy rights. He has also prepared numerous briefs for parliamentary bodies and appeared before these bodies to make representations on behalf of FIPA.
