By order of the Board, the Annual General Meeting of the FIPA will be held on June 25, 2026 at 5:00pm Pacific Standard Time via Microsoft Teams.
FIPA’s 2026 Annual General Meeting is an ideal opportunity to hear highlights of the Association’s work over the past year and our key priorities going forward. We will conduct regular AGM business and elect Board members.
When: June 25, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
Where: The meeting will be held by electronic means.
Members may join the meeting by following a link to or calling into the Microsoft Teams meeting and entering the appropriate conference ID and password.

Be sure that your membership is up to date so that you can vote at the meeting!

With the AGM being virtual, the complete AGM package of materials will be distributed via email the day of the event to those who have requested that the materials be sent to them. Please contact the secretary at secretary AT fipa.bc.ca to request a copy of the materials.

Following the adjournment of the Annual General Meeting regular business, a roundtable discussion and update on FIPA’s 2026 and 2027 activities will be held with President Mike Larsen and Executive Director Jason Woywada!

Board of Directors Election
FIPA will be electing a portion of their board of directors following established policy. FIPA Policy: Director Nomination Process
- Are you interested in becoming a director? Be sure to visit our Governance page and learn about FIPA Board Roles and Responsibilities.
- Candidates must prepare a brief (one page maximum) personal statement and expression of interest in information and privacy rights and submit it to secretary AT fipa.bc.ca.
- Candidates must submit this document by email by noon, June 22nd to be eligible for nomination.
Proxy Voting
If you, as a member, are unable to attend, you can appoint a proxy by following the established policy. FIPA Policy: How to submit a proxy.

- The form must be received by email by noon, June 24th to create an eligible proxy.
