Is the organization likely meeting the expectations of British Columbia residents for a public body as identified in polling conducted by IPSOS?
Overall
accountability and governance
records management
accessibility and fees
Our Observations:
This public body shared an extremely detailed framework for information governance, which demonstrates at least some, if not all, of its employees in its IM/IT department have an advanced understanding of the importance of recorded information to a public sector organization. Though it lacked many of the specific policies for records management and FOIPPA, an information governance framework is an essential step forward that it should continue to build, and should earn the attention and support of executives.
