Right to Know Week features FOI workshop and FIPA’s 20th anniversary party
Right to Know Week in Canada takes place on Sept 26-Sep 30, 2011
RTK Week was created to raise people’s awareness about their right of access to government information. It highlights the essential role freedom of information plays in democracy and good governance.
This year marks the sixth year that Canadians have celebrated RTK Week, and there are a great number of events planned from coast to coast.

The BC Freedom of Information and Privacy Association has turned
20 years old, and you are invited to join us in celebration
on Wednesday September 28, 2011 at the Law Courts Inn.
Comedian Charlie Demers, good eats and a raffle with some exciting
prizes will make this a fun evening.
